Born from a resident’s creative spark, this community-driven event has blossomed into a full-fledged street party that captures the essence of small-town charm with big-city excitement. From 9:30 PM until the stroke of midnight, Main Street and State Street transform into a festive playground, closed off to traffic and open to endless possibilities.
The savory aromas of food trucks waft through the air as local breweries and distilleries set up shop in the beer garden, catering to the 21-and-over crowd. The infectious beats of “Big Fat Meanies” fill the streets, compelling even the most reluctant dancers to bust a move. And who better to guide us through the evening than our emcees, the charismatic team from Red Tie Affairs?
But the real showstopper? As the clock ticks towards midnight, all eyes turn skyward. In a nod to Ephrata’s famous Farm Market and Auction, a luminous Green Dragon ascends, accompanied by a breathtaking fireworks display that paints the night sky, blending tradition with spectacle and excitement for the new year ahead.
