Ephrata Honors banner program
Showing appreciation for our veterans and active duty military is a great way to demonstrate patriotism and the “Ephrata Honors” Banner program is a great way to show your thanks and pride. Organized by VFW Post 3376. The program provides a visible, powerful tribute to local veterans who have served our country.
Currently entering into Phase IV, up to 73 new banners featuring local veterans will be displayed on light posts on Main and State Streets in the Ephrata borough. The banners hang from Memorial Day through Veterans Day for three consecutive years. After their time is up, the banners are respectfully retired and returned to the veterans’ families.
The VFW is grateful to Ephrata Borough for their continued support in allowing the banners to be displayed on their light posts as part of the town’s seasonal decor each summer.Seeing the faces of hometown heroes who answered America’s call serves as a constant reminder of their sacrifices, and inspires everyday citizens to reflect on what service and duty truly mean. Beyond being a powerful symbol, the banner program also provides meaningful opportunities to directly assist local veterans.
All proceeds from banner sales go directly to programs and services offered by the Ephrata VFW Post 3376 and supporting local veterans. From scholarships to youth programs to assisting disabled or homeless vets, the VFW channels banner funds into giving back to those who gave so much for us.If you have a veteran in your life you’d like to pay tribute to through the Ephrata Honors banner program, visit https://www.ephratavfw.org/banners, email, EphrataHonors@gmail.com, or call 717-733-9904 for details on submission requirements and costs.
