Ephrata will honor the millions who have defended our freedom with the annual Veterans Day Luminary Trail on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from sunset to 8:00 p.m. at the Winters Leadership Memorial along the Winters Memorial Trail.
Nearly 400 luminaries will illuminate the Veterans Plaza and Winters Memorial Trail, honoring the more than 41 million Americans who have served in the U.S. Military. Since 2014, this moving tribute has become one of Ephrata’s most cherished community events.
The tribute begins at sunset and is free and open to all, inviting visitors to walk through the illuminated trail in remembrance and gratitude.
Admission is free and open to all. We welcome visitors to walk through the rows of lights.
The event will feature several meaningful additions to enhance the experience.
Hogs & Heroes Foundation PA2 Chapter will be presenting their flagline during the event.
The trail will be illuminated with the help of community volunteers, including members of a local Boy Scouts troop, Cub Scout Pack 190 & Troop 190. The troop will also be on hand with hot drinks, hot dogs and snacks.
Additionally, the students from Fulton Elementary School will place mini flags on the trail and Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company will support the event by flying an American Flag over the trail via one of their ladder trucks.
Mainspring of Ephrata thanks all the volunteers that help bring this beautiful and memorable event to the community. We could not do it without you.
