After a great turnout in 2025, the Candy Crawl is BACK and scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, from noon to 3pm on Main Street in Ephrata. Mainspring of Ephrata is again co-hosting this family-favorite kids’ event.
The Downtown Ephrata Candy Crawl is a free, family-friendly Halloween event held annually in downtown Ephrata, where kids and parents trick-or-treat their way through participating businesses along Main Street and State Street. Beyond candy, the event features activities like a coloring contest, photo booths, pumpkin decorating, a balloon artist, a craft area, and mini games with prizes, drawing over 300 attendees in its first year. Hosted by the Downtown Ephrata Property and Business Owners Association in partnership with Mainspring of Ephrata, the Candy Crawl brings the community together while giving local businesses and organizations a chance to connect with families in a fun, festive setting.
Location: Registration and main events at the Whistle Stop plaza. The crawl runs along Main St. between Lake and Arch Streets, plus the first block of North and South State St.
